In recent decades, waste disposal has become one of the primary and most significant issues in all urban agglomerations and settlements. Modern society generates increasing amounts of waste material, and its composition is continuously changing. Waste incineration systems, such as plasma and other technologies, are already widely used worldwide. These are facilities that require significant investments.
ŠUŠA Company has decided to build landfills outside urban agglomerations, in accordance with environmental protection regulations. The remediation process begins with planning the landfill and evenly distributing waste material across the surface. Then, a compactor and bulldozer are used to compact the waste material to a certain extent. The entire surface is covered with a foil, clay, or inert material (soil). Around the landfill, a drainage pipe system is constructed to divert leachate, which is discharged by the landfill, to a designated location. To prevent an explosion of the compacted gas within the landfill, controlled gas removal is carried out by placing biogas vents.
